Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement

Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (Sales & Customer Service) Implementation in India

Gigatorb designs and delivers Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Sales implementations tailored to complex, real-world processes. We go beyond standard configuration — building custom model-driven apps, canvas apps, automated workflows, and plugin-based business logic on Microsoft Dataverse to match how your organization actually operates.

We work with Indian enterprises on direct implementation and support, and act as offshore Dynamics 365 CE engineering capacity for teams in the US, UK and the Middle East.

Platform Engineering

Custom CRM Engineering on Microsoft Dataverse & Power Platform

Every Dynamics 365 CE project is a data-modelling project first. Sales and Customer Service both sit on Microsoft Dataverse, and the Common Data Model (CDM) ships standard tables — Account, Contact, Opportunity, Case — that already carry relationships, choice sets and security semantics. Deciding what to inherit from CDM and what to model as custom tables is the decision that determines how much rework you face in year two, so we settle it during architecture rather than during UAT.

The second decision is where configuration ends and code begins. We use Business Process Flows (BPFs) to move records through stages users recognise, business rules and Power Fx for in-form and canvas logic, and Power Automate for orchestration across SharePoint, Outlook and external systems. When a rule has to be transactional and impossible to bypass — pricing validation, entitlement checks, regulatory constraints — we register C# custom plugins on the Dataverse event pipeline instead of hoping a flow keeps up.

Where other systems need to reach in, we expose reusable operations as Custom APIs and integrate through the Dataverse Web API (REST endpoints), so portals, billing platforms and ERP stay in sync without brittle point-to-point scripts. For service desks we configure Dynamics 365 Customer Service SLAs, entitlements, queues and case routing rules so that first-response and resolution clocks reflect the commitments in your actual contracts.

That combination is what separates a CRM that survives its second year from one that quietly turns back into spreadsheets. If you would rather borrow that capability than build it in-house, the same engineers are available through our Dynamics 365 contract staffing practice.

Where we extend the platform

  1. Data layer

Dataverse tables aligned to the Common Data Model, with alternate keys, relationships and a security model that matches your org chart.

  2. Process layer

Business Process Flows, business rules and Power Automate for approvals, escalation and cross-system orchestration.

  3. Experience layer

Model-driven apps for back-office depth, canvas apps with Power Fx for the field, and PCF controls where standard components fall short.

  4. Code layer

C# custom plugins on the event pipeline, Custom APIs and Dataverse Web API integrations for logic that must be transactional.

  5. Service layer

Dynamics 365 Customer Service SLAs, entitlements, queues and case routing rules wired to the commitments in your contracts.

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions About D365 CE Implementation

Do we need Dynamics 365 Field Service to manage technicians and service calls?
Not necessarily. For many organisations we build scheduling, dispatch and service-call management on Dynamics 365 Customer Service plus custom model-driven and canvas apps, avoiding the additional Field Service license.
Can Gigatorb extend Dynamics 365 CE with custom code?
Yes. When low-code reaches its limits we write C# plugins, Custom APIs and PCF controls on Dataverse, with unit tests and Azure DevOps pipelines so the customisations are production-grade and maintainable.
How do you integrate Dynamics 365 CE with Business Central or other ERPs?
We use Dataverse dual-write, Power Automate, or custom API integrations depending on volume and latency needs — keeping accounts, contacts, orders and invoices consistent across CRM and ERP.
What does a typical CE implementation timeline look like?
A focused Sales or Customer Service rollout typically runs 8–14 weeks; multi-app programmes with custom apps and migration are phased by module. We scope this in an architecture review before committing.
